Katie Holmes on "So You Think You Can Dance"

Katie Holmes may be making an appearance on "So You Think You Can Dance".


The star who has been hidden from the spotlight might soon be returning to it.

EOnline cited an unnamed source who claims viewers will be in for a treat on the August 6th finale.

“It taped last week,” says the on-set source. “It’s going to be on the finale. It’s a Broadway does Hollywood number. It opens on a Broadway stage and then she walks into a Hollywood studio…She was amazing. She was such a pro. Her legs are in great shape. She’s got a hat and a cane and she’s wearing a leotard and tights,”

In an earlier article, the publication noted that reportedly Katie Holmes would perform the Judy Garland signature song “Get Happy,” with choreography by Tyce Diorio in a production directed by Nigel Lythgoe.

Judge Nigel Lythgoe had this to say:

[A]nd he was coy, only saying that it was “just a rumor at this point” but that he’d love to have Katie on. Judge Mary Murphy unleashed one of her signature screams when I asked her what was up. She denied having any knowledge on the subject, but screeched, “Would I love to have Tom Cruise in our audience?! You bet I would!!”

According to another source who spoke to USMagazine.com.

They are making it seem like a huge Broadway production…It’s a massive set.”…Katie — “has been working on this for a long time…She is working with the choreographer Tyce Diorio. They want it to seem like she waltzed in and put it together very quickly, but that’s really not the case. This has been a longtime in the making.”
