Nicole Bobek Meth Arrest

Nicole Bobek has been placed under arrest for involvement in a methamphetamine ring.

Nicole Bobek’s meth arrest looks like another story of a fallen celebrity or athlete – Bobek won the 1995 U.S. championship, but seemed to disappear from the spotlight thereafter.

Bobek was charged as part of a northern New Jersey drug ring, specifically charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamines.

An investigation led to the arrests of more than a dozen people in June, with Bobek arrested just last week in Florida.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said, “She played a significant role in this operation. She was actively involved in the upper echelon of this ring.”

Bobek was held on $200,000 bail and faces up to 10 years in prison if she’s convicted.
