Tiger Hits Turnberry

As the British open gets under way, the epic battle is about to begin as the new course debuts and the world prepares to witness Tiger Woods taking on Turnberry. Turnberry is regarded as one of the more difficult course, longer and more challenging than most. Broadhurst and his playing partners, Michael Campbell and the 1989 Open Champion, Mark Calcavecchia, all parred the 35-yards opening hole at Scotland's Turnberry links as benign conditions greeted today's early starters.
