Ed Reed's Brother Missing

Ed Reed’s brother Brian Reed is missing since he jumped into the Mississippi River to save himself from police.

Brian, the 29-year-old brother of the American football free safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, jumped into the river in St. Charles, Louisiana to avoid being arrested. He soon went under water and then disappeared.

Authorities noticed his hands and head intermittently popping out of water for few minutes but finally he went under the water and did not resurface.

Reed was probably driving a stolen car according to the police; however his mother Karen Reed said it was a family car.

Brian and Ed Reed’s mother denied all allegations and revealed that her missing son was addicted to drugs but otherwise he was not a bad person. She hoped her son had not drowned in the river.
