Brett Favre & Vikings Training Camp

Brett Favre is crossing over to the other side, the Vikings. He is all set to go to their training camp.

The Minnesota Vikings have an agreement in principle with quarterback Brett Favre, who will report to their NFL training camp.

Multiple sources, both Internet and radio, have claimed that a completed contract is imminent and that Favre will likely sign an incentive-laden one-year deal that might reach the level of $8-10 million.

A formal announcement will probably not come until later in the week.

According to the Bleacher Report, Vikings head coach Brad Childress is fishing in Alaska along with Eagles head coach Andy Reid, so that will only delay the announcement.

Unless the deal falls through, Favre gives the Vikings an immediate upgrade at the QB position over Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels, who were expected to compete for the starting job.
