Jet Blows 5 Tires

How would you like to be on a jet that blows 5 tires while it's landing?

Well that's exactly what many passengers experienced on a Northwest Airlines flight in Minneapolis St. Paul. Everyone on board the flight was safe. The plane blocked the runway for three hours causing delays for many other flights.

The Boeing 747 was flying in from El Paso, Texas and sure enough was scheduled for maintenance in Minnesota. The Northwest Airlines pilot radioed in to the control tower that his breaks were overheating before landing.
