Vick's Sentence Ends, More Judgements Await
Michael Vick's sentence ends on Monday, and now he will go on trial yet again, this time with the judgments of the public and the NFL.
Vick is suspended indefinitely by the NFL, and Commissioner Roger Goodell had agreed to meet with Vick only after he sees remorse and change from the 29-year-old former Falcon. If he does get reinstated by the NFL, he won’t be sporting a Falcons jersey; they severed all ties with the player in June.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said:
“The review of Michael Vick’s status is ongoing. We are providing no other details right now.”
It has been reported that he can play for the UFL, but as far as Vick is concerned, that would be a last resort.
As Vick’s sentence ends, so does the removal of the ankle monitor he has had to wear the last two months of his 23 month sentence while being confined at home.
